On his way back from a nearby convenience store, Subaru Natsuki is suddenly stranded in a foreign city. He finds himself surrounded by unfamiliar faces speaking a foreign tongue, realizing he has been transported to an entirely different world. Unfortunately, the shopkeeper throws him out for being insolvent, leaving him hopeless and immediately encircled by a gang of ruffians.
