7 Seeds

Scientists had predicted this disaster, and in response, the leaders of every country met to develop a plan for human survival before the meteor hit. The Seven Seeds project was developed out of this meeting. Each country froze a number of young healthy people, which allowed them to survive the meteor. After the computer determined that Earth was once again safe for human life, it released them into the world. The Japanese government created five groups of survivors: Winter group, Spring group, Summer group A, Summer group B, and Fall group. Each group consisted of seven members and one guide. The guide carried small tubes of poison on their necks to allow them to end their lives if their situation became unbearable. The Japanese government prepared seven "Fuji" as refuges for the groups. In each Fuji, the group would find seeds and numerous books instructing them on survival in the wilderness. 7 Seeds won the 2007 Shogakukan Manga Award for shoujo manga.

The Devil Princess

She had a dream: the world was brimming with light. Family. School. Friends. Trains. Buses. Movies. Books. In the demon world, she lived a carefree life until she encountered a powerful being. After such a long time spent living as a demon, before she knew it, spreading in her heart was a yearning for that world of light. She plunged herself into a summoning magic circle that had appeared. Then… when she opened her eyes once again, she had become a human baby. She was in the Holy Kingdom. She felt fearful: while she was indeed a demon, she only had the strength of a baby. Her being a demon, if discovered, would be terrible. Was she a human or a demon? Would she be able to survive from here on out?

Akagi

A Genius who Fell into darkness. The God of the Underworld. Akagi runs from a game of chicken where he almost died, to a Mahjong parlour where a man loses all his money to the yakuza. Akagi, who is only thirteen, tells the loser that his game needs improvement (although Akagi himself has never played before). Akagi replaces him in the game, and so a legend is born. When the police come to check on the place to see if the kid that ran from the game of chicken is there the yakuza deny that Akagi was involved. In the end the policeman invites Akagi to a much more organized Mahjong game and from there, the legend of the Genius who Fell into Darkness continues to grow.

Susumu Nakoshi is a middle-aged man who spends his days between a lavish first-class hotel and a park full of homeless people. One day, an eccentric young man approaches Nakoshi in search of subjects willing to partake in trepanation—the procedure of drilling a hole in the skull. This mysterious person claims that Nakoshi is the perfect man for the experiment. Initially rejecting the offer, he doubles back on his decision after his car gets towed off. Nakoshi agrees to let Manabu Ito, a 22-year-old medical student, drill a hole in his skull in exchange for 700,000 yen. The procedure bears no results at first, with Nakoshi showing no abnormalities. This normalcy comes to an abrupt end, however, when Nakoshi begins seeing the homunculus in every person. With his perception distorted, how will Nakoshi face these homunculi?

Sora No Otoshimono

Tomoki Sakurai is a perverted teen boy whose slogan is "Peace and quiet are the best," and frequently has goals of meeting an angel. He finds it almost impossible to reside in relaxation when he must put up with Sohara Mitsuki, his next door neighbor with a killer karate chop; Eishiro Sugata, a strange pseudo-scientist bent on finding the "New World"; and Mikako Satsukitane, their college sadistic student council president. One night, while he was watching a peculiar anomaly in the heavens, a UMA (Unidentified Mysterious Animal) crash lands near-by. Tomoki finds that what fell in the skies is a winged feminine humanoid named Ikaros from an unfamiliar world of Synapse, who shortly declares herself to be the servant of Tomoki. From then on, more creatures identified as "Angeloids" arrive; with this, he loses his solace, but in the exact same time discovers nice matters the Angeloids bring him, and battle the forces that drop up on Earth. Tomoki Sakurai Tomoki is a teen lad[a] who desires nothing over a tranquil and peaceful existence in Sorami City. He's experienced a recurring dream where he meets an angel, who will be taking off off to the heavens, much to his disappointment, since youth.[ch. 1][b] His existence is forever altered when he meets Ikaros, an angel-like animal who falls from the heavens and becomes his servant.[ch. 1] Despite being a shameless pervert,[c] a characteristic greatly affected by his grandfather and mom,[ch. 7,33,36,49] Tomoki is explained as a-kind and honest man. He strives to make Ikaros and also the resident Angeloids act more like people by having them-not be so focused on compliance, and telling them to make their particular choices.[ch. 9] Although he consents to be Nymph's grasp, he declines to formalize that bond-like he did with Ikaros.[ch. 3 9] He is normally drawn with superb deformed parameters, except when he's serious or relaxed.Tomoki sometimes uses a device to change himself in to a lady named Tomoko (???), therefore he can slip into girls locker-room. But when he's excessively sexually aroused or anxious, these devices will breakdown and he changes back.[ch. 11,33] His lecherous actions and strategies frequently end in failure and mischief.

xxxHOLiC

Watanuki Kimihiro is a high school student plagued by yokai and ayakashi – spirits with a strong attraction to him. The spirits are invisible to others and encounters with them are extremely troublesome. When he stumbles into a shop that grants wishes, however, events in his life promise to become more unusual. The shop is owned by Yuuko Ichihara – a mysterious and beautiful (sometimes playful) witch of many names and esoteric renown. For a price, she offers to grant Watanuki's wish to be rid of the spirits. The price, according to Yuuko, must be of equal value and so, as payment, he temporarily becomes Yuuko's part-time employee – a maid to be precise! Watanuki's job also seems to consist of small errands dealing with the supernatural including the household chores. His love interest Himawari Kunogi, and "rival" Doumeki Shizuka, occasionally join him in his work as per Yuuko's request. The three become increasingly close despite Watanuki's annoyance with Doumeki. Yuuko constantly refers to "hitsuzen", meaning inevitability, destiny, or fate, as being the driving force in the world. She states that there is no such thing as coincidence, and that every single action and decision is inevitable, because without them, other related events in the future could not happen.
